This policy describes how Ecavista uses cookies and similar technologies on ecavista.com, in compliance with Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection and the recommendations of the European Data Protection Board adopted as best practice.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to remember your preferences, keep you logged in and measure the site's performance.
2. Categories we use
Necessary cookies: essential for navigation and security. Personalization cookies: store your language preference (es/en). Analytics cookies: measure aggregate traffic. Marketing cookies: only activated with your explicit consent.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept, the signals ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization remain "denied".
4. Managing cookies
You can change your decision at any time by clicking "Customize" in the bottom banner. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
5. Retention period
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies have a maximum lifetime of 12 months, except aggregate analytics cookies which are kept for 14 months.
6. Third-party cookies
We use services such as Google Analytics 4 and heatmap tools, properly configured to anonymize IPs and honor your consent choices.
